In the words of the ever so influential 2000's rock singer Avril Lavigne, we really were just a boy and a girl. Two people just maneuvering through life. Next thing we knew we were telling each other we couldn't imagine ourselves without one another.  Here's how my boyfriend and I came together: It all started last year around the month of December. We met on an online dating site. This shy, yet calm and collected guy made the decision to message me. Right off the bat- we got along really well. When we had our first phone call, I was blown away. Through the kind of conversations we had and even with the way he spoke, my attractions grew. He was respectful, kind, funny, communicative, and honest. Make yourself at home.  I'd like to start off by setting the tone for this blog: This website is meant to benefit those who are looking to learn more information concerning how to manage a romantic relationship with someone who has a disability- or as the Internet likes to call it: an Interabled relationship.  My Backstory: When I began dating my current boyfriend; I searched everywhere online to find stories about dating someone with a condition. The concept of dating someone who did not have the same abilities as me was a bit abstract to me as this was my first time considering this. Details on romantic relationships with an abled person and a disabled person were relatively hard to find, though. While I read posts about the more challenging aspects of dating someone with a disability, no one mentioned what steps to take in order to  overcome those challenges.
